NAAAHR kicked off its free ten (10) week HRCI certification study group on March 23, 2013 at The Dennard Conference on the campus of the Atlanta Technical College. Under the leadership of Akilah Charlemagne, SPHR, study group participants are preparing to take the PHR/SPHR exam this Spring/Summer.

We are very appreciative of the support of Tess Vismale, Conference Center Manager for providing us a consistent and complimentary space in this beautiful conference facility in downtown Atlanta.

This is the second time that NAAAHR has supported this worthwhile cause. Last December we collected dozens of pairs of shoes at our holiday mixer. Soul Project founder Martin Kumi was there to share how he grew up in Ghana and the plight of hundereds of thousands of men, women, and children who do not have even one pair of shoes. Inspired by his story, many of our members told us that they wanted to do more.

NAAAHR is introducing a new and improved membership. Based on the feedback of our members, NAAAHR has changed the membership status from “end of calendar year renewals” to “anniversary/rolling” renewals. Now, you can join NAAAHR anytime of the year and receive 12 full months of membership benefits.
